Judge Amy Berman Jackson has ordered Roger Stone to appear in federal court on Thursday to explain why he shared a photo of her in crosshairs on his Instagram page.
Berman Jackson issued a gag order on Roger Stone and his attorney’s last week to stop him from discussing the case with the public and the media.
Over the weekend, Stone posted a photo on his Instagram page of Judge Amy Berman Jackson next to crosshairs. The photo was quickly deleted and Stone’s attorney’s sent a notice of apology to the US District Court in DC apologizing for the image.
Stone was arrested last month by the FBI at his home in Ft Lauderdale for lying to Congress and obstruction of justice.
Judge Amy Berman Jackson is not happy with Roger Stone. Natasha Bertrand tweeted an electronic filing by Judge Jackson ordering Stone to show cause for his Instagram post.
“Defendant is ORDERED to show cause at a hearing to be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2;30 p.m. as to why the media contact order entered in this case and/or his conditions of release should not be modified or revoked in light of the posts on his Instagram account on or about February 18, 2019.”
