After he announced his run for president, everyone on social media is looking for photos of Cory Booker with hair. I guess many people are curious about what the Senator from New Jersey looked like in his younger years.
The first photo of Cory Booker with hair
Back in January 29th of 2005, Cory Booker posted a photo on his Facebook account on ThrowBack Thursday (#TBT for short) of himself and his father playing backgammon.
“This pic from years ago (when I had hair), my dad and I playing backgammon. He taught me the game and used it to teach me many other lessons. We spent years battling back and forth on that very board – it watched me grow up,” Booker said on Facebook.
“Even when I was young, he never let me win. I had to earn it. What I wouldn’t do for one more game with him.”
That the first photo we found of the Senator showing himself with a full head of hair. However, during our search, we found another photo of Senator Booker that was posted by Michael Harrison on Twitter.
Do you think Senator Booker should grow his hair again or do you think he looks better bald?
Things to know about Cory Booker
Cory Anthony Booker was born on April 27th, 1969, in Washington D.C. His parents Cary and Carolyn Booker were civil rights activists and were just a few of the first black executives at IBM.
Booker played football in high school and continued playing in college at Stanford University where he was named to the 1991 Pacific-10 All-Academic Team.
Cory also became a vegetarian in 1992 and he had his very last non-vegan meal back in 2014 at an IHOP restaurant.
Booker became a Senator back in 2013 after he won a special election to replace Sen. Frank Lautenberg in New Jersey. He became the first black U.S. Senator from New Jersey.
Here is a video of Booker getting a haircut while he was campaigning for Hillary Clinton.
Cory Booker Presidential bid
“The history of our nation is defined by collective action, by interwoven destinies of slaves and abolitionists, of those born here and those who chose America as home, of those who took up arms to defend our country, and those who linked arms to challenge and change it,” Booker says in a video released by his campaign.
It’s predicted that Democrats will have a huge field of 2020 presidential candidates that will try to defeat Donald Trump in the next general election. Senator Kamala Harris just announced her candidacy just a few days ago. Harris is the first South Asian-American and second black woman to serve in the Senate.
One thing is for sure, Sen. Cory Booker with hair or without and Senator Kamala Harris on the same ticket would be unstoppable!
I already got my Kamala Harris bumper sticker, now I need one for Booker.
