President Trump’s harshest conservative critic ripped him a new one on Tuesday, saying he “talks a good game” but he’s “afraid to fight” for the border wall. “Call this his ‘Yellow New Deal.’,” Coulter told her followers on Twitter.
A bipartisan deal to avert another government shutdown will reach his desk in a few days that will not fund Trump’s border wall.
“I’m not happy about it. It’s not doing the trick,” Trump said to reporters at the White House. “I’m adding things to it, and when you add whatever I have to add, it’s all going to happen where we’re going to build a beautiful, big, strong wall.”
The new deal will add $1.375 billion in funding for 55 miles of bollard fencing. Nowhere near the $5.7 billion Trump demanded before shutting down the government.
