President Donald Trump’s former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen agreed to testify to the House Intelligence Committee next month on February 8th according to House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff of California.
Many Democrats are very excited about this developing news.
“We will continue to work with Mr. Cohen and law enforcement in order to protect Mr. Cohen and his family,” Adam Schiff said in a statement.
Cohen was supposed to testify in public but canceled due to threats to Cohen’s family from Donald Trump and his current lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
The Senate Intelligence Committee also subpoenaed Cohen to appear in mid-February.
Buzzfeed News reported that Trump told Michael Cohen to lie to congress about the Trump Tower Moscow project.
