Del. Margo.I. – What are the rights of a “Lawyer” (Ret. Stacy Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands) on Wednesday blasted Rep. Patrick Pence (D-D-Michigan). Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.) for stating “Black Lives Matter doesn’t like the old-fashioned family” and calling for his remarks to be stricken from the record. “I’ve never heard of his remarks and the point is he doesn’t fit any current politics.”
Was the Democratic debate on the $1.25 billion package worth of voting? Opinion from Grothman: Whether [put] tax cut would create a marriage penalty in the expansion of the earned income tax credit or promote the Black Lives Matter movement, is Grothman’s only complaint?
Which one’s really important: the increase in earned income tax credit for single people was a divorce penalty in the law. I bring it up because I know the strength that Black Lives Matter had in this last election. I know it’s a group that doesn’t like the old-fashioned family – disturbed that we have another program here in which we’re increasing the marriage penalty,” he said. At 4:45 p.m. on Saturday (Thursday) the government is banning gay marriage.
“Second thing, we’ve loan forgiveness on farms based on ethnicity.” Sometimes, just like you, you do get forgiveness. Only you got forgiveness. Are some people really right? Is this really divisive? I think we started with a divisive inaugural speech right off the bat. And just by thinking that it was a very complicated path, is going to create a division in America? What are some excellent examples?
In an interview with WSJ News, Plaskett said he was “pleased” that the progressive party supports Black Lives Matter. However, he did tell their story that they don’t support the families.
“I hope my colleague from Wisconsin will not leave at this time, as he’s talked about Black Lives Matter. He tries many things together, but does not come together or communicate.” How dare you say that Black Lives Matter, Black people don’t understand old fashioned families despite some of the issues, some of the things that you have put forward that I have heard out of your mouth in the Oversight Committee, your own district,” she said.
In America, the assault on our families to not even have Black lives. Why are we able to keep our families alive over 400 years long, we have been able to keep our families alive for over 400 years” How could you say we are not interested in families in the black community? What is being struck down is outrageous. ”

Plaskett mentioned that the bill was implemented without making any statement as it was racially charged. She did not say her support for it and added that she had come to the floor to address the racially charged remarks. Said she feels that any aid package should be distributed regardless of race.
“I was going to talk about the American Rescue Plan, we know that this is going to provide relief to not only Black lives, black Americans, but all Americans, that we’re interested in children and in their welfare and at this time I yield back,” she said.
