Representatives of military agencies of NATO countries confirmed support for Ukraine

They said Russia’s “destabilizing actions” were undermining efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region

Acting U.S. Under Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs Amanda Dorey took part in a virtual meeting with NATO colleagues from Canada, Lithuania, Poland and Britain, countries that provide major security assistance to Ukraine.

This was reported by the Pentagon.

The meeting was organized by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace.

“The leaders reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic aspirations and discussed concerns about increased Russian military activity in the region,” the Pentagon said.

They added that Russia’s “destabilizing actions” undermine efforts to de-escalate regional tensions.

“The leaders reaffirmed a strong commitment to train and support capacity building of Ukrainian forces to preserve the country’s territorial integrity and continue to move toward interoperability with NATO,” the Pentagon pointed out.
