In a statement released by White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, President Trump will sign the government funding bill and will also declare a national emergency to build his border wall.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also announced on the Senate floor that President Trump will sign a compromise bill to avoid another shutdown of the government.

Earlier this month the Washington Post reported that McConnell cautioned Trump in private that he should not use national emergency power to fund his border wall because it will receive huge opposition from Republicans.
Many Republicans and Trump supporters like Ann Coulter are raging with anger on Twitter about the news that Trump will sign this bill.
Trump promised his supporters that Mexico would pay for the wall during his campaign and now he’s planning on using emergency powers to get his wall.
Trump also made a tweet back in 2014 saying Republicans must not allow President Obama to “subvert the Constitution” because he was unable to negotiate with Congress.
The Trump Administration will definitely face months or maybe years of legal challenges with this declaration.
