There appears to be a new phase in the revival of the famous procedural series called “Detective Nash Bridges.” According to Western media reports, project star Don Johnson said he has begun “serious preparations” and will soon begin filming in a multi-part series.
Johnson reportedly plans to return to the role of Detective Bridges in the project, which USA Network has been busy developing for the past two years. It will be presented in the format of a two-series picture. If the new film proves successful, the project has every chance of becoming a full-fledged television series. “We get to meet Nash a few years later, a lot of the characters will be back. We have a really terrific show, and right now we’re working on it in San Francisco,” notes the actor.
Recall that the original multi-episode series was shown to the public from 1996 to 2001 on the CBS television channel. The popular project included six seasons.
