The director of “Justice League” and its new version Zack Snyder suspected the company Warner Bros. in the “hostility” to his vision of the development of the cinematic universe of DC. He shared his own opinion with reporters.
“I believe the company had some hatred for the Batman v. Superman film. I faced pressure, they wanted me to give up some ideas after ‘Batman v Superman.’ I didn’t want to do that, and I didn’t. Honestly, this story has always been a trilogy for me,” the filmmaker admitted.
Recall that the picture about the struggle of the two most famous characters of DC was quite low rated by critics. It earned at the box office much less than the company expected. There was also a significant drop in box office receipts in the second weekend. It was after this that the studio was formed DC Films.
This month saw the premiere of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which was an updated version of the film that failed at the box office in 2017.
Users of HBO’s streaming service Mach showed quite high interest in the project, despite its lengthy running time.
