According to Statcounter, Microsoft’s browser continues to grow its audience. It has overtaken Mozilla Firefox in the desktop ranking and, according to analysts, will soon be one step closer to holding the status of the leader, Google Chrome.
As of March 2021, more than 8% of desktop and notebook users chose Edge. That said, Microsoft’s proprietary browser is still trailing Safari by 10 percent and has a big lead over Google Chrome, which has grabbed about 67 percent of the market share. According to analysts, Edge has a chance to move from third to second position this year, “moving” the brainchild of Apple.
According to statistics, the popularity of Mozilla Firefox browser has recently decreased, and many of its fans prefer Edge. Experts note that Microsoft puts a lot of effort to make its browser more user-friendly, regularly improving its functionality and speed.
