Of all the potential video game adaptations, one of the most long-awaited is a movie based on BioShock: the project was announced many years ago, but soon after the announcement it was stuck in production hell. Apparently, this will soon change – and the resurrection will be aided by everyone’s favorite company Netflix.
The administration of Giant Freakin Robot, citing its own sources, claims that the streaming service will adapt the cult shooter in the form of a high-budget series. Alas, no details were announced – for example, it is not clear which part will form the basis of the show and who will take over the reins of the TV version of the action movie. For now, the information should be taken as a rumor.
Recall that the original BioShock game was released in 2007 and turned out to be an incredible hit. In 2010 the sequel was released, and the three-quel, BioShock Infinite, became one of the most popular and discussed novelties of 2013. Unfortunately, the series has been resting since then, although the rumors about the possible sequel have not stopped even now.
