A screenshot from GPU-Z application appeared in the network, revealing the characteristics of the yet unannounced NVIDIA 30-series graphics card. It is assumed that we are talking about the mobile GeForce RTX 3050, which soon should be presented together with 3050 Ti.
According to the information received, the alleged NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 uses 2048 CUDA cores and 4 GB of GDDR6 video memory with a bandwidth of 192 GB/s. The exact model of the GPU is not specified, but previous leaks have pointed to a stripped-down version of the GA107. Support for ray tracing is also indicated.
The platform for testing the new graphics card was an unknown Dell laptop. Interestingly, the graphics card uses eight lines of PCI Express 3.0 interface. This implies that the device uses an AMD Ryzen 5000-series processor or Intel Core 10th generation, as the Core 11th generation chips have PCI Express 4.0 support.
It is assumed that the new NVIDIA mobile graphics cards will be introduced with Intel Tiger Lake-H processors in the second quarter of 2021.
